    Orlistat (Orlista)

Orlistat, marketed under the brand name Xenical, is an over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medicine. It is also used to treat weight loss in adults by decreasing the amount of fat absorbed from food. It is most often used as a part of the treatment for obesity-related disorders. Orlistat may also be used to treat a certain type of fat-soluble vitamin deficiency (e.g., monozygg, euagux ute; taiwanic), or to promote the absorption of vitamin B12, a hormone that plays a role in regulating body weight. Orlistat is also effective in lowering LDL (the usual and total body weight), and increases the amount of HDL (a biologically active fat) in the blood. It is also used in the prevention and treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Orlistat is available in the form of tablets and capsules. The most common side effects of Orlistat include weakness, fatigue, stomach pain, constipation, loss of appetite, dry mouth, dizziness, and blurred vision. In rare cases, Orlistat can cause liver problems. People who take Orlistat should see a doctor first if they have any of the following symptoms: persistent jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes) or dark urine, dark urine with urinein very small amounts, unusual tiredness. These symptoms may go away on their own within a few days. If any of the symptoms persist or worsen, call your doctor. You should seek medical help right away if you develop any yellowing of the skin or eyes of your eyes, dark urine, unusual tiredness, unusual weakness, loss of appetite, weight loss, or yellowing of the skin or eyes. Call your doctor at once if you have unexplained weakness, yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, weight loss, unusual weakness, unusual weaknessy or feeling over 50, or unexplained fatigue. Orlistat may make you drowsy (unconscious).

Orlistat is an oral prescription medicine used for the treatment of weight loss in adults. It is a synthetic fat-soluble vitamin that contains a fatty group as its active ingredient. It is also used to treat a certain type of fat-soluble vitamin deficiency (e.g., monozygg, euagux ute; taiwanic), or to promote the absorption of vitamin B12, a hormone that plays a role in regulating body weight. Orlistat is available in the form of tablets and capsules and is taken by mouth. It works by blocking the absorption of fat in the body. When a person is taking Orlistat, they will only absorb about 40 to 50% of the fat absorbed from food. The remaining fat passes to the still unborn baby and is excreted from the body in the form of stool (a product of the body's digestive process). It is important to note that Orlistat may cause liver problems in some people. If you are overweight or obese, your doctor will evaluate whether your condition is related to a certain vitamin or fat-soluble vitamin deficiency. The liver can't absorb Orlistat and will not be able to absorb it properly. When taking Orlistat, the liver does not absorb it and will not be able to make vitamins that are needed. Orlistat can also cause kidney problems, which can be treated by taking the medicine at a lower dosage. If you are taking Orlistat and have any of the following symptoms, call your doctor right away or stop taking the medicine and tell the doctor right away: diarrhea, feeling unwell, skin rash, nausea, vomiting, weakness, tiredness, weight loss, weight changes, dizziness, or fainting.

Orlistat is a prescription medicine used to treat obesity-related conditions such as type 2 diabetes. It works by blocking the absorption of fat in the body and increasing the absorption of about 75% of calories from fat in the diet. The active ingredient in Orlistat is Orlista. It can be taken with or without food. Orlistat should be taken in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. It is usually taken once a day. The usual daily dose is one capsule three times a day.

Xenical is to treat people who are overweight or obese. This medicine works by targeting the absorption of dietary fat in your body rather than suppressing your appetite.

Dietary fats are large molecules that need to be broken down before they can be absorbed into the body. They are broken down by enzymes called lipases. That is, lipases play an important role in the digestion of dietary fat. When taken with a meal, Xenical interferes with the activity of these enzymes. This allows about 30% of the fat eaten in the meal to pass through the gut undigested. Therefore, your body cannot store these excess calories as fatty tissue or use them as a source of energy. This helps you to reduce your weight by burning up fat that you are already carrying, maintain your lower weight and minimise any weight regain. Losing even small amounts of weight and keeping it off produces additional health benefits for you, especially when you are at risk for other diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. Xenical can also help to improve risk factors, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high blood sugar. If these are not treated, they could lead to other diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. Xenical should be taken in conjunction with a well-balanced calorie-controlled diet and other appropriate measures such as exercise.Active Ingredients:Xenical does not contain sucrose, gluten, tartrazine or any other azo dyes. Sedation isternally desiccated fat is absorbed through the skin and is also fat that is secreted by the kidneys. It is mainly broken down by enzymes called lipases. Because of this, capsules are typically taken once or twice a day, with or without food, to reduce the fat secreted by the body. It is important that you use a diet that is appropriate to your particular situation.
